Augusta harbour (Sicily) that is strategically located for the Mediterranean Sea routes, is the most important Italian port for loading/discharging oil and chemical products.

max sea depth:39 mts
The commercial area for dry cargo operations is located in the NW coast of the harbour:
about 500.000 sq.mts storage area which is scheduled to upgrade to 1.100.000 sq.mts for container terminal.
about 1550 mts of berth with max draft up to 16 mts suitable to accomodate ro-ro, conventional and full-cntr vessels.
Fast and smooth connection with main speedways are secured by efficient and suitable link road: 28 kms from Catania international airport - 25 kms from Siracusa - 140 kms from Messina - 250 kms from Palermo.
