SANTA PANAGIA BAY DESCRIPTION

 Located on the east coast of Sicily between Penisola Magnisi and Capo Santa Panagia. It is a wide open bay with a large evolution area for safe manouvering in deep water. Refinery is located in south east Sicily on about 400 hectares of land, at Santa Panagia, between Augusta and Syracuse.
The landing stage has 5 docking bays, 1600 meter length, able to accomodate ships up to 600.000 dwt. Installation provides adequate facility to fastly receive water ballast in considerable quantity which is usually processed and purified.
Vessels calling Santa Panagia being currently and directy assisted by Seamar's personnel based in Syracuse office under close supervision of Augusta head office which manages and coordinates operation and contacts among all parties involved, including port authorities and port services.
